Best/Worst crash ever: Crashing on the last corner of the 300m TT Final in Gijon Spain World Championships, I had a shot at being the first to break the overall world record that day but my biggest skating rival broke the record 2 heats later.

If you could be friends with anyone in the world who would it be?: I didn’t realise that this question would be so hard when I wrote it... Probably a big Bengal Tiger. Cause no one would mess around with a guy who had a big ass cat following him around and in movies big old tigers are usually pretty wise.

Reasons why you love/hate/just like training with Des?: Des makes a point of trying to find and work with people who have positive attitudes, and through this she is able to build an extremely productive and enjoyable training environment for all of her athletes. She also loves to give you a hard time and keep you on your toes, all in good intentions to get better results, it is good mental conditioning.
